Samsung will produce 120 millions display panels for Apple this year

According to the reports, Samsung will produce OLED display panels for the upcoming iPhone 13 series. Further details have shown that Samsung will produce these OLED display panels only for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Along with the iPhones, Samsung will also produce display panels for the upcoming iPad models.

There are a total of three companies that will provide these OLED panels to Apple. The first one is of course the Samsung, the second one is LG and the third one is BOE(Chinese Electronic Components Producer). LG will also produce OLED display panels for both the previous and the upcoming iPhone 13 models. As far as the upcoming models are concerned, LG will only produce panels for the iPhone 13 mini and the simple iPhone 13 model.

As far as the stats are concerned, Samsung will produce a total of 120M OLED display panels for both the upcoming and previous iPhone models. While LG will be producing around 50M of OLED panels for Apple. While the third contributor in this list(BOE) will produce around 9M OLED display panels for Apple. The iPhone 13 series will be the first one to have the 120Hz refresh rate displays.

To tackle all kinds of battery issues, Apple is most likely to add a variable refresh rate that will considerably increase the battery life.
